Zen Microphoto CompactFlash
Letzte Woche habe ich leider das MicroDrive meines Creative Zen Microphoto vernichtet. Nachdem start hörte man nur noch ein leises klacken und der Player fuhr nicht mehr richtig hoch.
Zum Microphoto findet man im Netz leider nur sehr wenige Anleitungen in Bezug auf auseinander nehmen. Dafür aber diverse Anleitungen für das vorgänger Modell den Zen Micro. Die beiden Geräte sind fast baugleich und unterscheiden sich nur durch eine Abdeckung bei den Anschlüssen. Diese gibt es beim Microphoto nicht mehr. Beim öffnen muss keine Schraube gelöst werden, das Gerät ist komplett gesteckt (Anleitung siehe Links).
Von dem MicroDrive muss nur noch das Kabel abgezogen werden und in die Compact Flash Karte gesteckt werden. Ausprobieren ob die Karte läuft kann man leider nur testen in dem der Zen wieder vollständig zusammen gebaut wird, da der Akku sonst nicht angeschlossen werden kann.
Der Player startet danach in den Recovery Modus. Sollte er da nicht automatisch hin wechseln ist dieser auch erreichbar indem der Powerknopf gehalten wird und gleichzeitig der Akku eingesetzt wird. Über den Recovery Modus kann die Karte jetzt formatiert werden. Zuletzt muss die Firmware neu eingespielt werden. Zunächst den Menüpunkt Reload Firmware im Recovery Modus auswählen, danach die Firmware über Usb neu einspielen. Fertig.
Ich empfehle die Firmware Versionen für Nord Amerika, da es da keine Lautstärkebegrenzung gibt.
